Lisa Thomas

Role in Procurement Services - Supplier Services Administrator

I’m the Supplier Services Administrator, which means I’m here to assist with anything supplier-related.  My primary responsibilities include managing both the supplier database in Workday and the certificate of insurance database and providing support for our online bidding system called ISUBid.  I also administer the Supplier Scorecard Program (which monitors supplier performance, identifies problems, cultivates improvements or new ideas) and the new Supplier Award Program. 

Educational Background and Employment History

I graduated from Iowa State University with a BBA in Marketing.  I worked in data processing as an account coordinator prior to coming to ISU in 2007.  I have worked in Procurement Services for 13 ½ years.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I was born in Ames and am a lifelong Cyclones fan.  I enjoy spending time with my husband and our golden retrievers: Reba and Twister.  I love cooking and baking, and experimenting with recipes on our smoker.  I also like hiking in national parks and repurposing vintage finds.



Jennifer Rogers

Role in Procurement Services - Procurement Agent

I'm a new Procurement Agent who is responsible for contracts and purchases of janitorial services, lease agreements, art and classroom supplies, photography services, greenhouse, and promotional items.

Educational Background and Employment History

I'm a 2008 Graduate of Iowa State. I previously worked at Country Landscapes for 6.5 years doing purchasing, invoicing, and estimating landscape projects.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy coaching others in fitness & nutrition on the side. My main hobbies for enjoyment are being outdoors in nature hiking, bicycling, motorcycling or snowmobiling. I became a grandma this past year too! Life is full of adventures!
