Procurement Services' Key Contributor Award


The purpose of the Procurement Services' Key Contributor Award is to recognize Procurement Services Employees who have positively impacted the mission and vision of Procurement Services at Iowa State University.  Including those who have made a significant contribution towards improving a process or procedure, have been an essential component in completing a complex project or solving a complex problem, have demonstrated dedication to cultivating their professional knowledge and expertise, have introduced innovative ideas, or have had a positive impact through their dedication to job excellence.
 

Nominations for this annual award can be submitted at any time through the form below.


Eligibility:

  • The Nominee must be a current employee of Procurement Services.
  • The Procurement Services' Key Contributor Award can only be received once per calendar year.
    • Submission deadline is February 28, 2025 for Calendar Year 2024.
       
  • The work being submitted as part of this nomination cannot be work that is currently being rewarded through other programs.
    • Ex: EMPP, Procurement Advisory Council
       
  • Recipients must be Procurement Services' Employees at the time of the department wide recognition event.

 

Nature of the Award:

  • Award winners will be announced during a department wide recognition event held in April.
     
  • A $500 one-time stipend will be given to each recipient.
     

Criteria:

  • Nominee has demonstrated high ethical standards.
     
  • Nominee has engaged others, sought input, or made efforts to foster relationships.
     
  • Nominee has completed a complex project, provided a solution/solved a problem, improved a process or procedure, introduced an innovative idea, and/or provided extraordinary service to the department and/or university.

 

Submission Deadline for Calendar Year 2024 is February 28, 2025.
