Scammers Claiming to be USBank
Please remember that USBank will never ask for your full card number (they already have it). Anyone calling about fraud or fraudulent attempts on your USBank card can be referred directly to our Card Services Team (515-294-4589, cardservices@iastate.edu).
We have recently become aware of a scammer who has called at least one Iowa State University Cardholder claiming to be USBank. The scammer claims that there have been fraudulent attempts on your USBank card and asks for your full card number.
Kudos to Shari Springer for referring the scammer Lesley who quickly identified him as a scammer!
If you’ve provided your full Iowa State University card number to someone claiming to be USBank, please reach out directly to our Card Services Team (515-294-4589, cardservices@iastate.edu).so that we can take preventative steps to avoid any fraudulent activity from occurring on those cards.
