Recertification has been rolled out!
All P-Card and T&H Cardholders with upcoming card expiration dates will be receiving an email notification and an email invitation to Canvas soon, if they haven’t already. The Card Services Team will check card expiration dates monthly and send the email notification regarding recertification and the email invitations to Canvas to the individuals whose card expiration dates are approaching.
When you receive these emails, you will need to accept the Canvas invitation in order to complete the approximately 10-minute recertification course designed to refresh your knowledge of card guidelines and restrictions. Cardholders who went to P-Card or T&H Card Orientation longer than four years ago can also expect an invitation to the recertification course in Canvas.
Thank you to those of you who have already completed the recertification course! By assuring you complete this recertification promptly, you will be protecting both Iowa State University and yourself as the cardholder. Recertification is a critical component of the Iowa State Card Programs and essential for meeting State and Internal Audit Requirements.
Cardholders who would prefer to attend a synchronous virtual P-Card or T&H Card Orientation Session to fulfill the recertification requirement may enroll through Learn@ISU at http://learn.iastate.edu/IowaSU/site/ by searching for Purchasing Card Orientation or Travel and Hospitality Card Orientation.
Recertification is and will continue to be required every four years in order to protect both Iowa State University and you as the cardholder and to meet program and audit requirements.
