Role in Procurement Services - Associate Director

I am the Associate Director for Procurement Services.  Along with a team of 9 full-time employees and 1 student, we manage the administrative side of the department including cyBUY, card services, suppliers, website, communications, general procurement questions and so much more!  I have worked here for over 11 years and have been lucky enough to work in many different roles in the department and with many different departments at the university.  The commodities I work with are human resource services, insurance and benefits, banking services, and some professional services.

Educational Background and Employment History

I have been working in various customer service, retail, and sales positions since I was 14 and in supervisor roles since I was 18.  I started my Bachelors Degree in Business Management at Ohio Northern University (because I am from Ohio) and transferred to Iowa State University to finish my senior year.  I am currently working on my MBA and hope to graduate in 2023. 

What do you like to do outside of work?

I am married with two kids (Lexi – 7, AJ – 4) and a dog (Baxter – 14), they all keep me very busy!  I enjoy spending time with family, reading crime novels, and running.
