Contract Description:

ISU has a master agreement with Gateway Hotel and Conference Center for room rates, event spaces and rooms, food and beverage, and audio visual requirements for conferences and events hosted by ISU. 

We also have an agreement with Gateway for individual hotel room rates for ISU guest stays that we pay for interviewees, guest speakers, trainers, etc.

The Gateway Hotel and Conference Center has verified their Human Trafficking Prevention Certification and is compliant with the Iowa Law.

How to do Business with Supplier:

For events: Department should contact Gateway with event dates and details. Gateway will provide an event sheet containing the event details, cancellation fees, and room attrition for the event. Department will read the event sheet, agree to the terms and conditions by signing, and return the signed event sheet to Gateway to confirm event. If payment is within T&H Card limits, T&H Card may be used. If it is outside of T&H Card limits, department should submit a non-catalog requisition for the event using the event sheet.

For guest hotel rooms: Departments can contact Gateway with stay date(s) and details. For individual guest rooms, departments should ask for the ISU Cardinal Club rate to receive the discounted room rate. The rate will be available 7 days per week based upon availability and not valid on ISU graduation weekends and ISU football weekends. Group room blocks do NOT qualify for the Cardinal Club rate and will receive a 10% discount off of the best available rate. Government rates do not apply to regent schools.
